This course has been designed to follow the NAIC Suitability in Annuity Transactions Model Regulation. During this course you will be updated on the following topics: Types of Annuities and Various Classifications of Annuities; Identification of the Parties to an Annuity; How Fixed, Variable & Indexed Annuity Contract Provisions Affect Consumers; The Application of Income Taxation of Qualified & Non-Qualified Annuities; The Primary Use of Annuities; Appropriate Sales Practices, Replacement & Disclosure Requirements; Regulation 187 of NY.
Please note, you must check with your insurance carrier to see if this course will comply with their requirements set forth by Regulation 187 in NY. You may be required to take further training through the carrier directly.
